Mikesch started in a dorm freshman at Belmont University in Nashville, TN. where some guys started playing and writing songs together. Mike Grayson, the only group of writers who do not live on the same floor, received a special chair to indicate their place in the group. He called Mike’s chair. “So the group, Mikesch, was born. Now, as the honorary title of” chair-man, “Grayson was a singer, guitarist, and shares its name with its companion” chair men “Sam Tinnesz, guitar, Jesse Hale, the violin and keyboards and Jon Haire, bass guitar.
